Impact is rarely loud. More often, it is built quietly through consistency, care, and commitment over time.
At Mako Children’s Fund, 2025 was a year defined by that kind of steady and transformative progress. In Hohoe, in the Volta Region, children facing significant barriers to education gained reliable access to academic support, nutritious meals, mentorship, and creative expression. These supports do more than improve school performance — they create stability and open doors that once felt out of reach.
This year, students continued advancing through grade levels, families engaged more deeply in programming, and five young people took the remarkable step of beginning university. At the same time, we strengthened local partnerships, maintained strong financial discipline despite exchange rate pressures, and moved forward on plans for the Mako Community Center — a long-term investment in opportunity and community leadership.
The full 2025 Annual Impact Report shares the numbers, the partnerships, and the momentum behind this work. We invite you to read it and see how your generosity is helping provide sustained and critical support for children in Hohoe.
